How to connect Nokia n96 to wireless network with proxy address and user name and password?

Q. I have access to wireless network, the only thing to connect through computer is to adjust proxy servers address in LAN setting. When I use internet explorer for first time I will enter user and pass. How can I use my Nokia n96 to use with this network?

A. If you use a proxy server, enter its address, otherwise (and it's most likely otherwise) don't enter any proxy server address. (Home internet connections don't use internet proxy servers, and most domain networks don't any more.) The username and password won't be needed either, since you won't be using any proxy server. (Make sure you're connecting to YOUR wireless signal, not a neighbor's signal. Not only is that illegal, if the signal is secured, you won't get an internet connection, just a wireless connection. "Access" means that you're paying for internet service, either directly or as, say, part of the tuition if this is a school connection. Having your neighbor's permission to use "his" connection is illegal, because he doesn't have the legal right to give you permission - only the internet provider does - it's *their* connection.)

How does Google Maps on the Nokia N96 compare to the Google Maps on the Iphone 3G?
Q. Has it got all the same features? Is it as good in general?

A. maps, interface, and options are better on the iPhone. i think they're gonna even add street view to the google maps on the iPhone soon.

My Nokia N96's music player plays a song for a few seconds then cuts out also i cant access my videos and pics?
Q. The N96 isn't that old but recently its being really slow and freezing all the time. The battery doesnt last more than about 20 hours. I've restored the factory settings but still nothing :/ Its very frustrating please help?

A. My last N96 done that aswell. Also my screen kept blacking out. I took mine to a repairer and they said it needed a new circuit board or something like that. If it's still on a contract with insurance you should be able to get a replacement. That's what I did. If not maybe try to to update the phones software.
