How can i transfer videos from my NOKIA N97 MINI to my computer?
Q. Well, i recently bought the phone and I took some really cool videos but when I try and transfer them to my computer, it says they cant be found. But they're still on my phone, what do i do?
A. Ensure that your computer has the latest version of Nokia PC Suite or Nokia OVI Suite (Ovi Suite is newer, but requires more space and RAM) installed. You can download the latest version of either of the software from your local Nokia website.
Then, connect your phone using a USB Data Cable that is compatible with your phone. A USB Data Cable should be included in the box of your phone; if not, then you can buy one in your nearest Nokia Store or an electronics shop (just make sure that it's compatible).
After connecting, your phone will ask you what connection method to use; select PC Suite. If you are plugging in your phone for the first time, then you have to wait until all of the phone's drivers have been installed. It should take about 3 minutes at most (a pop-up bubble will appear on your taskbar stating that all the drivers have been installed).
Open your Nokia Ovi Suite or PC Suite and locate "File Manager" (or go to My Computer and check the Nokia File Manager/Browser there after connecting your phone). Navigate to either your Phone Memory or Memory Card (depending on where the video is saved) then just drag and drop to your desktop.
